Are you curious about your fertility or hormonal health? If you are thinking about starting a family in the future, or are planning on getting pregnant soon, this test will provide an accurate overview of your reproductive health and fertility.

  • Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)
  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH)
  • Prolactin
  • Oestradiol

An imbalance in the body’s hormones can lead to low libido and/or fertility issues.

The follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) work together to trigger the release of an egg from the ovary, a process known as ovulation. Prolactin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland, which hinders ovulation. Therefore, abnormally high levels of prolactin can cause difficulty in becoming pregnant.

Oestradiol is a hormone needed to maintain the eggs inside the ovaries. Abnormally high levels of oestradiol indicate an issue with the ovarian reserve.

You should take this test if you are curious about your ovarian health and/or experience:

  • Ovarian Failure
  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
  • Low Ovarian Reserve
  • Early Menopause
  • Menopause
  • Thyroid Issues

This sample must be collected on day 3 of your menstrual cycle i.e. the third day of your period. It may be necessary to wait to collect your sample until day 3 of your cycle falls on one of these days.

If you have an irregular menstrual cycle, are currently taking hormonal contraceptives, or have taken them in the last 3 months, this may affect the accuracy of your results.
